We would like to invite you for the SOHQ and India Division's event.

12IN0108 Incredible India
1st of august-29th August, 2010
CAT 1A event

We kindly invite you to explore this huge and exciting country with us!
5 days in India, 5 big airports, 5 long but interesting routes. It will be 5 Sunday’s events, where you can complete 5 long legs over India.



The event timing is from 12:00Z to 16:00Z in each event day.


1.   day (1st August):    Delhi (VIDP) – Kolkata (VECC) 708nm
VIP passanger transport to Kolkata with mid size off passenger/transporter
IFR, above FL300, max 0.90M

2.   day (8th August):Kolkata (VECC) – Chennai (VOMM) 747nm
Low altitude coast patrol with suitable a/c.
VFR, max. 2000ft, max. 250IAS

3.   day (15th August):Chennai (VOMM) – Hydebarad (VOHS)* – Bangalore (VOBL)* – Cochin (VOCI) 743nm 
Low altitude reconnaissance flight with single or multi prop engine fighter or cargo
VFR, max 4000ft, max. 250IAS

4.   day (22nd August): Cochin (VOCI) – Mumbai (VABB) 574nm
Deliver medical aids to Mumbai with heavy cargo.
IFR, above FL200, max. 0.9M

5.   day (29th August): Mumbai (VABB) – Leh (VILH) 937nm
High speed fighter patrol route with jet fighter.
IFR, above FL420, max. 1.5M

My idea of event name was based on the TV advertise not any historical action or battle. If you have any problem about it, tell me, and I will change the event name.
It would be a training without any political or historical background.

After a lot of thinking and without any of the above concerning us.. I think we should keep the same name.Gabor. Its just a reflection of the training event in India .

I have no problems with the name, just mentioning the fact it's also been used in reality for a operational detachment on exercise Smiley
